Duties include:
Manage staff to ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping, financial statements, payroll processing and sales tax filings for multiple small business clients in a variety of industries; review deliverables for quality, accuracy, and opportunities.
Act as primary contact for small business clients: help clients understand their financials and improve their operations to achieve better business outcomes; respond to their needs and inquiries in a timely, professional manner; get needed items from clients for the team to complete their responsibilities.
Monitor clients’ financial positions throughout the year and partner with Tax Manager to implement strategies and tactics for clients to minimize tax liability.
Handle year-end processes including W2s and 1099s, ensure timely closing of books, and bridge accounting data over for preparation of tax return.
