Make a List

One of the first steps you should take toward increasing productivity is putting all of your tasks together on a list. Having your jobs with down or typed up allowed for you to have a visual representation of what you must accomplish in order to keep you on track. Gauge Task Timing

While working on a project, try to determine how long each job will take so that you can begin to arrange your to-do list by the amount of time it takes to complete the work. Prioritize your responsibilities by the time taken to finish, and then schedule accordingly. This way, you’ll never over-schedule when you understand how long a department meeting or a reviewing session will take out of your day. 

Group Similar Responsibilities

To maximize the time you spent on specific types of take, attempt to neither together similar jobs. Completing similar responsibilities within a specific time period minimizes distractions, such as transitions between grossly different tasks. Doing this will ultimately save you time as you’ll be more focused on each task group!

Prioritize Demanding, Difficult Tasks

Often, the tasks that are most challenging and demand the most time are the interview that we always try to avoid. When creating our lists of responsibilities, try to put the most difficult take at the top. You’ll be more productive if you’ve dedicated the necessary time and energy into completing a challenging job rather than pissing it off until it becomes a last minute endeavor. 

Don’t Forget Breaks

After being a productive worker for an extended period of time, it is important that business owners take a quick, deserved break. Even just walking away from your desk during an appropriate time to pause could make the difference between producing subpar work when an excellent job. A closed, overworked mind can’t produce top tier work. 

Update Your Lists

Last but not least, it is imperative to remember at the end of the day to cross off shy completed take and reevaluate the items on your to-do list. Rethink all of the factors mentioned above that affect your productivity— time spent, difficulty level, similarity to other tasks— and plan accordingly. The next way to be a productive business owner is to consistently check-in on the status of your responsibilities
